21 year young face required for Suryas Maatraan

Fans were delighted when we first broke the news on Surya’s forthcoming offering Maatraan on Pongal Day earlier. Later when we inquired about the actor appearing in the role of conjoined twins Director KV Anand surprised everyone when he revealed the fact that Surya will be appearing in 5 different avatars in Maatraan.

Now the cinematographer/director has come up with fresh announcements when he told us, “We are in search for a 21 year young face for the female lead and the news that it’s going to be some Bollywood heroine is false as I have not approached any Bollywood lady to pair opposite Surya.”

Recently there were talks of Kajal Agarwal coming into Maatraan but it looks like she doesn’t qualify the requirements of the director. Kajal recently was in news for heading back to Bollywood for the Singam remake in Hindi.
