With Telugu mega star Chiranjeevi clapping the first shot, Kannada actor Shivarajkumar’s 100th movie ‘Jogayya’ went on floors at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Monday.Since it was also Shivarajkumar’s birthday, he was gifted a silver crown.Addressing the function Megastar Chiranjeevi, who took time to attend the event amidst on-going sessions in Andhra Pradesh, described Shivanna as his ‘close friend’. He said that he was inspired by Dr. Rajkumar’s simplicity. “Although Rajanna is physically not alive, his soul is there always with us. Shivaraj Kumar is really lucky to be born as his son. Now he is following his footsteps and upholding ‘Annavara’ popularity and dignity. I hope Jogayya would break the records of Jogi.”

Vehicles heading towards Sree Kanteerava Stadium flooded all roads leading to the sporting arena, triggering a massive four-hour traffic jam on Monday afternoon. Many were seen cursing the authorities for renting out the stadium for public functions.

Vijay said that Dr. Raj is also one among the South Indian Superstars like MGR and Shivaji Ganeshan. Shivaraj Kuamr has acted in all kinds movies i.e. love, family, sentimenatal, action and comedy and movies like Om, AK 47 and Jogi are all examples for his talent,” Vijay said. “I asked for the DVD of Jogi to watch it at home, but I had come to Bangalore to watch in theatres,” he recollected the event.
