HMD Global has just launched the Nokia Android smartphones in India. While the Nokia 6 handset will be sold via Amazon India, the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 smartphones will be sold offline.
All three Nokia smartphones are 4G VoLTE-enabled, and run stock Android Nougat software, with regular updates promised by HMD Global. The Nokia 5 has been priced at INR 12,899, and will be available for pre-booking starting July 7 through offline channels. The Nokia 3, cheapest of the three, will be going on sale at a price of INR 9,499, and will be available exclusively via offline retail as well from June 16.

The Nokia 5 features a 5.2-inch HD display, dishing out 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, coupled with 2 GB RAM. It sports 16 GB inbuilt storage space, and its external memory is expandable up to 128 GB. The Nokia 5 packs a 13 MP primary camera, and an 8 MP front camera. The handset features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, and is backed by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
On the other hand, the Nokia 3 features a 5-inch HD display. It comes with a polycarbonate body and metallic frame on the sides. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC, coupled with a 2 GB RAM. It bears 16 GB inbuilt storage space, and its external memory is expandable up to 128 GB. The Nokia 3 packs 8 MP front and rear cameras. It is backed by a 2650 mAh battery.
