Huawei has announced that it will take the wraps of a new smartphone the Honor V9 on February 21 just ahead of MWC. The smartphone was recently spotted on TENNA listing. However, from what we have been hearing lately this smartphone Honor V9 will be China-exclusive. And that it will be available in China only.
That said, the device will be made available internationally but the smartphone will come with a different name. Fresh reports have revealed that the V9 will be rebranded to Honor 8 Pro and that the smartphone will be showcased at the Huawei event on February 27 in Barcelona.
The Honor V9 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 SoC. According to the reports, it will come in two RAM variants – 4 GB and 6 GB. It will also sport two storage options – 64 GB and 128 GB. The handset is expected to include a 3900 mAh battery, and could feature a dual rear camera setup – a 12 MP lens with another 2 MP lens. It will sport an 8 MP front-facing camera.
