Huawei Terminal brand Honor has launched its latest budget smartphone – the Honor Bee 2, in India. The handset has been priced at INR 7,499, and will be available in Black, Gold, and White colors.
The smartphone offers VoLTE support, and comes with 15-months of service warranty. It includes a ‘Rainbow’ light which is a circular ring around the rear camera, and which glows when there’s call, message, or any other notifications on the device. It also comes with a dedicated Smart Key which can be customized to launch any app.

As the name implies, the Honor Bee 2 is the successor to the company’s Honor Bee smartphone, which was launched in 2015. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, dishing out 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM. It packs 8 GB inbuilt storage space, and its external memory is expandable up to 32 GB.
The Honor Bee 2 bears a 5 MP primary camera with dual-LED flash, and a 2 MP front camera. The handset is backed by a 2100 mAh battery, and runs on Android v5.1 Lollipop-based Emotion UI 3.1.
P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business Group, said that the company is excited to introduce the Honor Bee 2 in India through its vast offline channel.
