DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin has stated that the Govt. of Tamil Nadu has been in ‘a state of coma’ for a long time and is languishing in an ICU ward.
Stalin was addressing a District-level Conference held in Dharmapuri on Saturday to condemn the State Government’s decision not to constitute Boards for the welfare of unorganized sector. Taking a hard stance against the State government, he said “Chief-minister Jayalalithaa doesn’t even function for an hour in a day for the State’s welfare.
“She not only heaps insult in trade union representatives but has also not done anything of note. She continues to make announcements on the floor of the Assembly under Rule 110 but these announcements are not implemented practically.
“During the erstwhile DMK regime’s rule, Rs.116 crores was provided for the welfare of unorganized labour,” Stalin concluded.
