Tamil Nadu BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan has said that the ruling faction of the AIADMK can’t last long in power if it adopted anti-people policies.
Speaking to newsmen in Nagercoil, Tamilisai said that she was not sure whether the two factions of the AIADMK would vote for the BJP’s presidential candidate. She appealed to chief-minister Edapadi Palaniswami to root out corruption in all forms and at all levels of governance in the State.
Tamilisai didn’t mince words when it came to criticizing DMK working president M.K. Stalin. “He hasn’t been functioning as a responsible Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly; his only motive appears to be to boycott the Assembly proceedings and address press-men outside the Assembly. Instead, he should look to function in a productive manner,” she said.
