Sameera Reddy and her streak of films took a toll on the poor girl recently when she fainting on the sets of Prabhu Deva’s flick opposite Vishal. We caught up with her and she took this opportunity to wash away the moment and discuss her upcoming projects personal and professional. Here is an excerpt from the interview.
Sam baby what’s happening with your planning these days seems like things need a bit rescheduling don’t they?
Yes, indeed. Sometimes it gets tough on you when you are flying, shooting, dancing all at the same time. I promoted Gautham Menon’s Nadunisi Naaygal and then tried shoot for Prabhu movie too, to top it all a show in Kozhikode made matters more hectic. It was all a good experience and a lesson learnt that I will not forget for a while .I need to give myself some pampering occasionally, now I realize.
Sure you do, so what about your projects now, have you cut down them drastically?
Well, the schedules are still on . Lingusamy’s film is under progress, then soon it will be followed by Prabhu’s film. There is also a London trip for my role in Priyadarshan’s Tezz. Oh i forgot t mention I will also be busy with Gautham Menon’s movie at the end of the year. There are things lined up already, my holiday will be equally super i hope.
We are afraid a break is no where near isn’t it? Do you sometimes wonder where you would love to holiday after these projects are over?
Bangalore bang on! This New Year was so much relaxing. I won’t prefer to hit Goa the party capital of our country neither would I love to leave my country for a chilled out vacation. It has to be Bangalore. You know last time I came back from Bangalore I told dad I so badly want a home there. He had a funny look at me though.
Kannada movie’s could be a good compliment too, won’t it?
Since you brought that up, my mother as you know is in so much love with Kannada films she always want me to act in one too. Dad is from Andhra Pradesh and having done my bit for Telugu films, maybe it is justified that I do Kannada films for mom.
How sweet of you. So any project lately?
Yes, but the packed schedule can’t make way although I have one offer to do a Kannada movie.
Profession seems be roaring over your love life for the moment isn’t it?
There are some handsome guys around I am also on the hunt these days
Ooh la la, guys here she comes watch out.
Haha, to be honest with you I feel I don’t get the time to devote to someone. It is so difficult these days with so many commitments already.
We will soon solve you worries Sam don’t you worry. Have a nice day.
Thanks for the promise.
Guys it is an open call.
Go for the kill your time begins now.
