Harris Jayaraj is composing for Maatraan that features Surya and Kajal Agarwal. The hit combo of Ayan, KV Anand, Harris Jayaraj and Surya are back to weave magic again. This year the composer has some of the most anticipated movies at hand including Maatraan, Irandam Ulagam and Thuppaki. We caught up with Harris here is an excerpt from the interview.
Hi Harris looks like you are having a great time, how have you been?
It’s a pleasant morning.
Indeed it is and we think it is the perfect time to ask you about the audio release of Maatraan, your fans have been waiting for it?
Well it will take a month to complete the rest of the work, in about 45 days; the audio would be ready for release.
Wow that is great news, how has it been composing music for Anand Sir’s project?
Of course it has always been a pleasure to be working with him and I am glad to be a part of the team.
So any update’s from the shoot locations?
I came to know that director KV Anand is shooting inJodhpurfor the last schedule. He has shot the movie at some exotic locations likeRussia,Croatia,Macedonia,SerbiaandAlbania.
We hear that you were inspired when you visited these locations, working on some compositions?
Definitely, traveling brings along exciting experiences. Our voyage on the cruise along the Mediterranean Seawas truly fabulous I must say. I completed 3 songs in a week’s time.
Amazing, what an experience it must have been, we wish we were on the cruise too.
Before you leave could you also update us on your work in Irandam Ulagam?
Well as you know I am collaborating with Vairamuthu sir. It is a musical treat for all music lovers. The set consists of six songs, it will be a surprise.
