Lately GV Prakash has been in news for his unique song with lyrics penned keeping in mind 10 languages – Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
So GV you must be lost in Saindhavi’s thought during the composition of so many romantic numbers?
Haha. Definitely no doubt about that I dedicate all my romantic numbers to my long-time sweetheart. We’re going to get married in next year.
‘Yathe Yathe’ from ‘Aadukalam’ is everyone’s favorite number you know?
Oh yes! I really did not expect such a huge response for the particular song for me every song is an honest attempt but to tell you the truth I had initially planned the song to be sung by 3 different singers but when Vetrimaran heard he wanted my voice to be the final, I approved after much hesitation.
You collaboration with Yogi B is the talk of he town these days; it was a great number your fans say, what did you think about it?
Thank you, I really like Yogi B’s style of singing. He brings in a motivational voice to my song.
What is your next plan now?
There is this Bollywood debut Joker featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha a 3D movie. They want me to do a song in 10 languages, a dance number, sung by Daler Mehendi. There are so many things to achieve, and I’m still learning.
Thank you GV Pakash for your time, you surely seem to have a hunger for learning and absorbing new technique, keep going. We wish you the best for your Bollywood debut.
