With two simultaneous releases her movies Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi and its Telugu version Love Failure have been declared a hit. We caught up with the Kollywood sensation to know more about her future plans. Here is an excerpt from the interview.
Hi Amala you look gorgeous.
Starting off we would like to tell you that we are amazed the way social networking sites have been raving about your role as Parvathy in Kadhalil Soddhapavadhu Eppadi which also saw its Telugu release. How do you manage switching roles between Kollywood and Tollywood so easily?
Thanks to Chennai, I don’t feel away from home, I have decided to remain grounded here. Thanks to my professional commitments. I must tell you this place has been wonderful.
Nice to hear, you are feeling at home. Would you talk a bit about your recent success Kadhalil Soddhapavadhu Eppadi which is another in the list of hits you have been a part of Parvathi?
Haha, looking back when Mynaa released people loved to call me Mynaa and now they associate me with Parvathi the girl-next-door. I think it is a positive sign. Well, the two versions were shot together in just 35 days on a very tight budget. I am glad both of them saw the light of success. The film is slowly but surely turning into a big hit and the word of mouth is working wonders for it.
We sure your fans love you truly-madly-deeply could you share a recent experience with us?
I think I am so lucky to be blessed with such fans. I am reminded of an incident. Some days back I was at the Prasad Imax in Hyderabad alongside the cast and crew of my movie. The moment the movie ended and the credits rolled in I was in for a unique experience. I was overwhelmed by the standing ovation our movie received post the screening. It was one of the most emotional moments that I have been a part of. Some moments later; I had my second surprise when the crowd shouted out in glee “Parvathy we love you”.
Unbelievable! Wow !, it is really a great feeling to be showered with so much love, seems like Tollywood too has been running high on the Amala fever. We hear that you have been signed opposite the charming Ram Charan Teja for an important role of which Kajal Agarwal is also a part of.
It is true, wow, to be chosen as Ram Charan`s heroine is definitely a great feeling. Get ready people! Mynaa meets Maghadheera soon.Haha. Thank you.
Thank you for a lovely time Amala our best wishes for your future ventures.
