Lucasfilm has come under intense scrutiny for its recent Star Wars drama, but the studio is hoping it has straightened out Star Wars: Episode IX. The studio has just announced that J.J. Abrams has been brought in to write and direct the much-awaited film, but he would obviously need some help. And that is where the screenwriter from Justice League will step in.
The studio has confirmed that Chris Terrio would help co-write Star Wars: Episode IX. Terrio worked on two DCEU projects. He penned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and also did the screenplay for Justice League. He is also expected to return for the Justice League sequel.
Terrio won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on Argo.
