Mythological and historical based subjects have always been a attraction for the producers and actors of the small screen shows. While such kinds of shows are always preferred by most of the actors as compared to the regular saas-bahu sagas, actress Drashti Dhami is different in her choices.
The actress, who is currently seen essaying the character of Gayatri in ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’, a periodical drama, does not see herself doing a mythological or historical based show. The reason being, Drashti is very much uncomfortable mouthing her dialogues in chaste Hindi which is always the norms of such types of shows.
Also, Drashti finds it tedious to wear heavy costumes and jewellery for such shows, day after day. The actress, given a choice, prefers to keep things simple and natural, as can be seen with her earlier character of Madhubala and now Gayatri. Well, we surely agree with Drashti about, simple is always beautiful.
