Actors Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri, who will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in Sajid-Farhad’s comedy caper ‘Houseful 3’, have gone ahead and signed their second movie titled ‘Banjo’. As reported earlier, Ravi Jadhav, director of Marathi movies, will be making his debut in Bollywood movies and has been signed by Eros Productions for their next upcoming. Although the details of Ravi’s maiden directorial venture were not known earlier, it is now clear that he will be directing ‘Banjo’ for the production house.
Ravi Jadhav, who was seen directing Marathi project ‘Balak-Palak’ for Riteish Deshmukh’s production house, has signed the actor to essay the male lead in ‘Banjo’. And to play the female lead opposite Riteish, actress Nargis Fakhri has been roped in by the makers. As Nargis’s character in the movie is that of a girl born and brought up abroad and seen visiting India with a purpose, the makers felt that Nargis fits the bill perfectly.
The musical based movie is slated to go on floors by end 2015 or early 2016. Meanwhile, Riteish and Nargis have already started shooting for ‘Houseful 3’ in London.
