The picture-perfect Tamannaah is probably enjoying the best phase of her career when it comes to her stint in Telugu films. The actress, who did a solitary Bollywood film when she was hardly 16 years of age, then shifted to Tollywood and debuted with Sri in 2005 and did her first-ever Tamil film Kedi (albeit in a negative role) in the following year in 2006. Her first Tamil film as heroine was Vyapari opposite SJ Suriyah which released in 2007.
The Sindhi girl then went on to star in many blockbuster movies in Tamil and Telugu and establish herself as a saleable actress in both these languages. For the past few months, though, the actress has been in Tollywood with some big projects in her kitty. She has an upcoming film Rachcha opposite Ram Charan Teja which would be hitting the screens soon.
She also has Endhukante Premanta opposite Ram and Rebel opposite Prabhas. She is also said to be in the reckoning to play megastar Chiranjeevi’s heroine in his yet-to-be-announced 150th film. Chiranjeevi himself hinted this at the audio-launch function of Rachcha held a few weeks back.
She has recently been caught in the ‘rain sentiment’ with/without her willingness. Her Paiyaah in Tamil turned out to be a super-hit venture and featured a rain dance in Adada Mazhaida… in which she rocked the screen with Karthi. Smitten by the ‘rain song’ sentiment, Tollywood producers are said to be ensuring that she features in at least on song in which she gets wet in the rain.
Her Rachhcha, which is to be released simultaneously in Tamil in its dubbed version as Ragalai, also features a ‘hot’ rain song. Tamannaah, clad in various catchy and sexy costumes, is said to have performed a likeable dance number in one of the songs in the film!
