Tamannaah does ‘goof-up’ in call-sheet management?

Tamannah call sheet trouble

She was the ‘queen bee’ of Tamil films till she decided to try out her luck in the neighbouring Tollywood. Within a short span of time, she had acted opposite most of the top stars in Suriya, Vijay, ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Karthi. Her on-screen chemistry with Karthi had even become the toast of the town. Some say that it was because of the off-screen talk uniting her with Karthi that she decided to move away from Tamil films.

Tamannaah’s die-hard fans don’t need to worry at all. She has said on more than one occasion that her foray into Tollywood was only to fulfill her commitments. She was the heroine in the successful Siruthai last year and followed it up with Dhanush’s Venghai which nose-dived at the box-office. It’s failure, though, did hardly trouble Tamannaah who was (is) on the wish-list of almost all upcoming and established heroes.

Of late, though, the picture-perfect actress has been facing allegations of late-coming and other non-cooperative attitude from the producers. Some producers say that she doesn’t bother acting as per the previously concluded call-sheet assignments resulting in loss to the film’s crew. Tammu, as she is fondly known, has no Tamil film on her hands but has a handful of Telugu films.

She is presently starring in as many as 3 Telugu films. In order to obviate problems arising out of her call-sheet goof-ups, Tamannaah has reportedly decided to first complete the three films which are in various stages of production before taking up any other new film offer. However, she had breached her own condition and has now signed up a new film opposite Mahesh Babu, who had The Businessman releasing some time back.

This has made other directors and producers cry foul as they fear that their film’s shooting schedules might be affected by the actress’ new film opposite Mahesh Babu. The directors and producers have jointly decided to file a complaint against the actress with the Producers’ Council.

Tamannah’s father, meanwhile, has denied reports that his daughter dear had ‘goofed-up’ her call-sheet dates and says that she treated all the producers equally. “She hasn’t signed up any new film opposite Mahesh Babu,” he revealed.
