Newcomer Vishnupriyan, who is debuting as hero in a film titled Mye, can’t get luckier. In his very first outing in Kollywood, the guy gets to lock lips with the heroine, the pretty-looking Shweta Basu. Mye is produced by Padmalaya Cine Visions and is directed by S.R. Gopalan.
As per the script, Basu runs a local cable television network in her locality. Priyan is obviously after her, seeking her love. The love affair culminates in marriage even as Priyan is jittery during the first night. In order to guide him past his insecurities and needless apprehensions, the heroine leads the way be initiating the kiss (what a novel idea!).
Gopalan says that the ‘smooth’ would be just perfect in the sequence and won’t look as if it’s an ‘imposed’ one. The couple took as many as seen takes (hope it wasn’t done purposely by either of them!) to seal the ‘kiss’, which might very well go on to become the highlight of the film!
Kannan, who last scored the music of Tamizhpadam, would he scoring the music of Mye. Anand would be the cinematographer while Sundar would be the editor. Shankar takes care of choreographing dance sequences in the film, which would have the story and dialogue penned by Ashok Kumar.
The audio of the film was recently launched at the Prasad Laboratories at Saligramam, Chennai.
