Whether she wants it or not, actress Shriya Saran keeps finding herself in the news again and again for all the wrong reasons. Some time back, she had to issue denials saying that she was never considered for Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Viswaroopam’ and then she got into the unsavoury controversy when she criticized Maharashtra Government’s action in barring youths below 25 from taking alcohol.
Last week, it was reported in sections of the press that she pulled up a photographer for taking her ‘full’ photograph and asked him to restrict his snaps till her torso as she had put in a ultra-glamourous costume. Reports which emerge from Puducherry say that the actress, who has gone there to shoot for her upcoming film ‘Rowthiram’ opposite Jiiva, faced problems from her fans and others.
Directed by Gokul, the ‘Rowthiram’ Unit was shooting in Bharathi Park in Puducherry where sequences involving Jiiva and Shriya Saran were being canned. News about Shriya Saran’s presence in the park spread like wildfire and within an hour or so, the park was surrounded by several thousand eager fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of the actress and the shooting schedule.
At some point of time, the crowd barged into the shooting spot and reportedly surrounded Jiiva and Shriya Saran. Some mischievous fans pinched Shriya at her hips while some other tried to pull her by her hands. Shriya, who least expected such a thing to happen, was scared out of her wits by the melee which was then controlled by policemen, who were asked to intervene by the Unit.
Finally, Shriya heaved a huge sigh of relief!
