Actor Narain is all set to make his debut as villain opposite Jiiva in a film titled ‘Mugamoodi’, which is to be directed by Mysskin. The burly director’s last two films in ‘Nandalala’ and ‘Yudhdham Sei’ didn’t do any rousing business at the box-office despite winning critics’ appreciation.
Incidentally, Narain debuted as hero in Mysskin’s directorial venture ‘Chittiram Pesudhadi’ opposite Bhavana a few years back. Narain went on to star in many films including Mysskin’s ‘Anjathay’ which went on to become a huge hit at the box-office. Narain’s last film was ‘Thambikkottai’ which was an average grosser.
Mysskin now patronizes an out-of Narain be offering him the lead villain in his upcoming venture ‘Mugamoodi’ which would have Jiiva as hero. The role Mysskin has for Narain is said to be a powerful one and would give Narain a ‘special identity’, it is revealed by a source close to Mysskin. Narain has agreed to play the villain’s role for the never-before sum offered to him as well as for the role which would be almost equal to that of the hero.
Speaking about his role in the film, Narain says, “To be very frank, I don’t view this role as a negative one and that of a villain. In fact, I consider this as the role of an anti-hero. I consider it as the biggest turning point in my life.”
