Actress Megha Nair has announced that she has officially changed her name from Megha to ‘Meghna’. She has requested the print media, her friends and others to henceforth address her only as ‘Meghna Nair’ and not as ‘Megha Nair’.
Last seen in a brief but significant role in the Karthi-Tamannaah starrer ‘Siruthai’, Meghna has been signed up to play the female lead in the upcoming film ‘Kaadhalichu Paar’. The Kerala import, who possesses a sexy and curvy figure, had earlier starred opposite Sathyaraj, did a brief role in Ranjith’s ‘Pasupathi C/o Rasakkapalayam’ and then did the successful ‘Siruthai’, which got noticed widely.
Despite her willingness to expose, she wasn’t getting many offers which made her put her ‘thinking cap’ on. She then apparently consulted her numerologist and has now decided to go for a name-change. She is confident that her role in ‘Kadalichu Paar’ would give her the much-needed ‘big break’ in Kollywood. She is also said to have signed up another film titled ‘Nellai Sandhippu’.
She is also said to be starring in a Malayalam film. The film has given her a change to prove her mettle in her mother-tongue too where she hadn’t been getting (m)any offer(s) at all. She is said to be playing a jolly, bubbly character in ‘Nellai Sandhippu’ which also has scope for Meghna to indulge in some ‘exposing’ to keep the audience’s interest sustained in her.
Let’s wish good luck to Meghna!
