Aaamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate has Kollywood celebrities talking too. The show that airs every Sunday at 11 p.m, is a collective effort in eradicating many of the social causes. It’s first episode titled ‘Daughters are precious’ cast a light on the social stigma of female foeticide.
The death of 3 crore girls, unborn since independence, revealed by Aamir shocked many. Keeping up his word, the Bollywood actor met Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot personally on Wednesday urging the government to take necessary action. Kollywood actors too, took out time to watch the show with their families. Actor Jiiva says, “Hats off to Aamir Khan for a super daring show!Satyamev Jayate (TV show)… your truly an Indian icon to be inspired… :))))” Gabbar Singh actress Shruti Haasan too expressed her appreciation saying, “Aamir Khan just makes sense.Simple.Loved the show, glad to see that level of commitment.” After meeting Aamir, Rajasthan CM Gehlot said, “The show is true to its name. Aamir has started a movement. He has taken up an issue which concerns the entire country.
