Actor ‘Jayam’ Ravi is awaiting with bated breath the release of his upcoming film ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’ opposite Hansika Motwani. In his own admission, the film has songs that were never so melodious in any of his previous films!
The national-award winning ‘Peraanmai’, directed by Jananathan, gave Ravi a tough image as he eased through the role of a forester who had been wronged by his over-zealous superior officer. In ‘Dham Dhoom’ too, one witnessed a different ‘Jayam’ Ravi who ran like a hare in the streets of Russia to avoid getting caught by the local police.
Prabhudeva, however, brings Ravi back into the ‘chocolate boy’ role with his film ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’. The film, which releases this Friday, depicts ‘Jayam’ Ravi as a young industrialist based in France. Ravi plays busy industrialist who has just a month off every year and hates love but is encountered by Hansika, who ‘loves’ to love and fall in love.
Returning back to ‘action’ mode, Ravi’s next film would be Ameer’s ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’, in which he reportedly plays a don. The dazzling Neetu Chandra plays his heroine in the film. Ameer, though has instructed Ravi clearly not to say anything or talk to anyone about his role in the film.
Following ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’, Ravi might also star in Ameer’s ‘Kannabiran’, it is rumoured strongly.
