One of the most anxiously awaited film of the season from the Director of massive hits Imsai Arasan and Arai En 302il Kadavul’s Simbhudevan is Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam. Simbhudevan has created the same magic for his next bilingual Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam (Super Cowboy in Telugu). The latest we hear is that the movie would be slightly delayed its entry into theatres due to public demand. The much-expected cowboy flick will now hit theatres during the school vacations, in stead of March 26.
Produced by Kalapathi S. Aghoram under the AGS Entertainment banner, the film, starring noted choreographer-actor-turned-director Lawrence Raghavendra in the lead role, is made with a massive budget of Rs. 20 crores.
Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam is an 18th century subject with much comedy and adventure. Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai are the heroines. Also in the cast are Saikumar, Sandhya, Nasser, Manorama, Senthil, Mouli, Delhi Ganesh and Ramesh Khanna. Dialogues are by Sriramakrishna, lyrics by Vanamali, music by G.V. Prakash and choreography by Lawrence himself. Sandya appears in a 20 minutes cameo role as a Red Indian princess.
