Director Vetrimaaran is all good and jolly with his rooster fighting Aadukulam as it cuckoo-do-cooed six national awards including Best director, Best actor – that went to ‘Lungi’ Dhanush, Best choreography and even the Special Jury award. Now the director is coming back with another period flick with a gripping storyline to be spread on screen with a pleasing Vetrimaaran touch.
Bulking with the awards does help in a big way and so is the case for this talented director who plans to rope in none other than ‘namma’ Suriya for his upcoming big flick. We are told that Vetrimaaran has narrated the gist of the story to Suriya who found the script a really interesting one. Howsoever his present commitments have put him in two minds, as and when to sign up on the dotted line for this new flick. Suriya has 7aam Arivu coming up this Diwali as he juggles between the 7aam Arivu promotions and his other movie Maatran with director KV Anand. The upcoming Vetrimaaran flick will be produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and is expected to go on floors from next year. Composer GV Prakash will score the music for this project.
With Director Vetrimaaran assuring a breed of good cinema and ‘namma’ Suriya being the King Ambassador of classic offerings, fans just couldn’t ask for more.(Yeah, just close your lips and soak in the dream)
