It’s not confirmed as yet but what we are hearing is music to the ears, for sure. The dream pair of the double A’s – actor Arya and actress Anushka – might come together for a film to be directed by mercurial director Selvaraghavan. The bespectacled director, who recently wedded Gitanjali, is back to work and is presently concentrating on completing the film titled ‘Irandam Ulagam’ starring his brother Dhanush and Andrea Jermaiah in the lead.
The new project which is visualized by Selvaa might have Anushka in the role of an ‘action heroine’. No doubt, the height factor would stand the pretty Anushka in good stead when it comes to kicking and bashing up the baddies in fight sequences. The actress has been basking in the glory of all the accolades she has been getting for her role as an advocate in her latest film ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ directed by Vijay.
‘Deiva Thirumagal’ is Anushka’s second successive hit film in Tamil after the super-hit ‘Vaanam’ in which she co-starred the likes of Bharath, Simbu and Sonia Aggarwal. She has already handled sword for a powerful role in the film ‘Arundhati’, whose colossal success had infused new life into her career in both Tamil and Telugu. Yet, this being Selvaas film, it is expected that Anushka’s role would be ‘different’ from the usual.
Instead of indulging in the Vijayashanti-type of no-holds-barred action sequences, Anushka’s character has been conceived in a manner very different from what has been witnessed till date, it is learnt. All the viewers would want is that their soft, pretty and voluptuous Anushka shouldn’t be seen with a hard look on her face!
