Yuvan dedicates song to mom

Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja had a great kick to 2011 with his Vaanam release setting the new trend of a single launch before the official release. Soon after almost all big movies have grabbed on to this trick, with the latest being Dhanush’s raging youth anthem “Why this Kolaveri?” adding to the pack.

Yuvan followed up his Vaanam success with the Mankatha album and the track “Machi Open the Bottle” undoubtedly proving to be another neatly chiseled Yuvan production. Moreover, his personal life came back on track with the composer entering wedlock for the second time with Shilpa Mohan on Spetember 1st. While things were going all smooth, mom Jeeva Ilayaraja’s sudden demise on October 31st came as a real blow for the composer. But Yuvan has moved on with the changing winds, slowly recovering back from the loss. He is eagerly looking forward to Vikrams’ Rajapattai among a couple of Telugu releases in store for his fans. Talking about his upcoming Telugu release Panjaa with Vishnuvardhan, an emotional Yuvan was quoted saying, “My mom has given me strength to face life so I will. And I’m back with Panjaa”

Yuvan we know how special Panjaa is for you and we at Kollytalk wish you all the best for the album…Keep rocking macha !!!
