Ilayathalapathy Vijay has an exclusive Independence Day surprise for all his fans. Addressing his loyal followers the star actor said that, “It’s been a long and patient wait for the Velayutham audio release that will take place on August 28th.” He further disclosed as earlier confirmed by our sources, “The event will be worth the watch being held at Madurai.” The hero heaped praises on the other Vijay –The Velayutham music composer Vijay Antony, saying that their successful combination which made Vettaikaaran a success is coming together yet again to make Velayutham even a much bigger success.
He gave an insight to his personal feel and like of the awaited audio album as he said, “I heard all the 5 to 6 songs and liked each one of them. Every track has a feel-good factor to it whether it is a folk number, a western number or a fast one. Each song is accompanied with a beautiful melody which I feel will help in the long-standing of the album.” Speaking on his favorite Velayudham moments Vijay disclosed that it was “the train sequence that he enjoyed the most and it had been stylistically choreographed by Hollywood Stunt Master Tom Delmar. It was a real learning experience working with Tom as he brought in new techniques, new equipment and a fresh perspective, making things all the more interesting.” On a final request Vijay asked his fans, “to put away with all kinds of piracy including the audio albums and the pirated DVDs, not just of his movies but every other artist- actor, director, composer who put in all the hard work to reap their deserved results.”
