The film which would bring Vishal and Trisha for the first time together on screen has been titled as Samaran. The film is being directed by Thiru, son-in-law of popular director Agathiyan, who has made films like Ajith-Devayani starrer Kaadhal Kottai.
Though Vishal tried to pair up opposite his favourite actress Trisha in the past, it didn’t materialize due to a variety of reasons. Trisha’s call-sheet diary would always full whenever Vishal launched his films in the past. This time, though, Vishal’s dream has come true as he would be pairing up opposite Trisha in the action-packed Samaran.
Samaran in pure Tamil means ‘warrior’. The film is being produced by Balaji Real media and it would be the second time Thiru would be directing Vishal after their ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’ last year. Yuvan Shankar Raja would be scoring the film’s music.
For the sake of sheer novelty, Thiru is introducing a villain from Bollywood in the film, which is likely to go to the floors soon. The first couple of schedules of the shooting would be held in Ooty, Chalakudy and then the crew might move on the to a few South American countries and to Bangkok for filming some important sequences and songs.
