Amala Paul, the latest sensation in Kollywood and ‘Kalavani’ fame Vimal have walked out of A R Murugadoss’s maiden production venture in association with Hollywood studio Twentieth Century Fox.
The grapevine is that Vimal and Amala didn’t want to play second fiddle to Jai and Anjali, the main lead of the film.
Also another buzz is that Vimal and Amala Paul have been roped in to play the lead in director Pandiraj’s third film and that’s the reason why the duo walked out of the film.
A few weeks ago there were reports that AR Murugadoss has entered into an agreement with Twentieth Century Fox to produce a film. Then came the announcement that his associate Saravanan would direct this flick with actors Jai and Vimal in the lead. Later ‘Angadi Theru’ Anjali and Amala Paul were roped in as leading ladies and the shooting of the untitled film started on December 15 in Chennai.
Now following the walk out of the main characters, the film shooting is halted for some time and will be resumed once the cast is finalized. According to the unit sources, Vimal has been replaced with Telugu actor Sarvanand, ‘Nadodigal’ fame Ananya is likely to play the second lady lead.
