Vijay appreciates his father's flick Velutthu Kattu

Actor Vijay has more reasons to smile as the issues pertaining to the ‘Theatre Owners’ Association got amicably settled now. Moreover, the actor is close to completing his 51st film Kavalkaran that is being directed by Siddique. His next film Velayudham, a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster Azad will start rolling soon.

Vijay has recently praised about the film ‘Veluthu Kattu’ that is being produced by his father and film-maker SA Chandrasekar.
SA Chandrasekar said that he had screened the film for his son Vijay who was also very appreciative of the film. He added that it is very difficult to earn Vijay’s appreciation and the first time he appreciated his venture was Naan Sigappu Manidhan and Veluthu Kattu was the second.

Veluthu Kattu‘s audio was released recently by Vijay.  S.A.Chandrasekhar has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues with Senapathy Magan wielding the megaphone. The film is based on the lives of contemporary youngsters. Newcomers Kathir and Arundathi are the lead characters in this film.

The film was recently given an ‘U’ certificate and  reports say that the Censor Board officials appreciated the film and lauded SA Chandrasekar and Veluthukattu’s director Senapathy Magan for having come up with an interesting film along with a good message.
