Actor Vidharth is presently concentrating hard on his upcoming project titled Kollaikkaran in which he is paired opposite Sanchita. The actor, who impressed many with his Prabhu Solomon-directed Mynaa, had his second release in Mudhal Idam a few months ago. The film, produced by AVM productions, didn’t do wonders at the box-office and as such Vidharth is intent on making his Kollaikkaran click.
The film’s script involves quite a lot of traveling by the lead pair, not dissimilar to the bus travel-related sequences witnessed in the recent Engeyum Eppodhum by debutant director Saravanan. Sources close the film’s crew say that as per the script, Vidharth meets Sanchita during a bus travel. While the heroine goes to college by bus for her studies, Vidharth happen to be traveling by the foot-board in the same bus.
Interesting sequences have been added in the script and shot involving the lead pair. The backdrops of many Tamil films nowadays are either city-based ones or have Madurai or Theni as their backdrops. Deviating from this beaten track, the script of Kollaikkaran would have its backdrop the city of Salem and the hilly areas surrounding it.
This is just one of the many high-lights of the film, say Unit sources.
