After the moderate success of his ‘Yuddham Sei’ directed by Myshkin, director-actor Cheran is all set to thrill the viewers with his home production titled ‘Muran’, which also has the talented Prasanna in a prominent role. The film has been directed by Rajan Madhav and has music by Sajjan Madhav.
Rajan, incidentally, was working under Myshkin as his assistant director and makes his directorial debut with ‘Muran’. Cheran tried his best to sell the release and distribution rights of his film to Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies. Udhayanidhi, who is busy with his debut attempt as hero with ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’, didn’t appear to be paying heed to Cheran’s request.
Dhananjeyan of UTV Motion Pictures has now stepped in to solve Cheran’s tangle of releasing and distributing ‘Muran’ by taking up the responsibility. Readers might recall that Dhananjayan was the losing producer who produced the Cheran-starrer ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’ more than two years back when he was working with Moserbaer.
This has left many in the industry wonder as to what could have happened in the meantime which has re-united Dhananjeyan and Cheran.
