A shocking news to entire tamil cinema fans,Popular actor Murali who was seen very active in tamil circle for last fews months with the release of son Atharvas debut film Baana Kathadi passed away in Chennai today early morning.

Murali, 46 complained of chest pain Wednesday morning and was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.His body was taken back to his Valsaravakkam residence and was kept there for public homage.Rajinikanth and Sarath Kumar were among the first to visit Murali’s residence and consoled the bereaved family members of the actor.
Murali’s final rites will be performed in the Besant Nagar crematorium tomorrow.And all activities pertaining to shooting and other events related to Tamil cinema will be suspended tomorrow.
He is survived by his wife Shoba ,Sons(Atharva and Akash) and daughter Kavya, Atharva, made his film debut recently in the film “Baana Kathadi”.
Murali, son of famous Kannada film director Siddalingaia, made his debut in Tamil film in 1984 playing the lead role in “Poovilangu”, directed by Ameerjhan.He acted along side actors like Thespian Sivaji Ganesan, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Mammootty, Prabhu Deva, and Parthiban.
Murali was much-sought after actor in the 90s when he gave a string of hit movies. His notable films include ‘Idhayam’, ‘Pudu Vasantham’, ‘Porkalam’,Thanga Manusukkaran’, ‘Alli Thanda Vanam’, ‘En Asai Machan’ and ‘Sundara Travels’.
