The latest buzz is that Surya’s Raktha Charitra has landed into trouble.
According to sources few student group and the communist party from Andra Pradhesh have a filed a petition with Human Rights Commission against Raktha Charitra Stating that film must be stopped from release as the movie has very violent sequences.
Rakta Charitra which is being made simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages is in production stage and is expected for Aug 2010 release.The story of Raktha Charitra which is based on the life of Andhra local politician Paritala Ravindra ,who was slained by his political rivals in 2005. The news of the death sent shock waves across the entire state of Andhra Pradesh followed with heavy violence between the rival groups killing each others.
In Rakta Charithra Vivek Oberoi Plays the role of Paritala Ravi while Surya plays Maddelacheruvu Suri the rival.
Now few student groups has been trying to stop the movie at any cost as they fear the outcome of the movie could be very worse if it hits the screen. The long time forgotten Ravi’s issue is very sesitive subject and can even lead to violence in the state. says a student group member
The petition filed by the student group has also been received by the Human rights commission, who have asked for the copy of the film with the Rakta Charitra Team before any action could be taken.
It is noteable last week Vijays kaavalakaran also had landed in trouble after remake rights breach.
