KV Anand’s Maatraan is shooting in Pune presently. The movie has grabbed headlines for the state-of-the-art PCT (performance capture technology) being utilized by KV and his group of technicians first time ever in an Indian film. The Maatraan director was seen getting his spot boys ready, capturing a love song filmed around his lead pair.
Lensman turned director Anand, has got his romantic pair in Surya and Kajal Aggarwal, dancing to a wonderful number composed by Harris Jayaraj. The breezy romantic number is being filmed in the mountainous terrains of Wai, Maharashtra. Famous for it’s ghats on the banks of river Krishna, it was the same location that was chosen for filming the ‘Ballelakka’ song from Shivaji.Infact KV fell in love with the place capturing the shots for the Rajini film, and decided to return to the picturesque location for Maatraan too. With 90% shoots completed, Maatraan turns out to be Suriya’s most expensive film till date. The makers are expecting the movie to be completed for a June-end release.
