It’s just one more to go for the big 7aam Arivu audio launch releasing this September 22, 2011. Now we’ve got a jingling update from our close sources for all you Suriya fans out there. As we had earlier told you Suriya appears in a triple role avatar as a circus artist, a Buddhist monk and a scientist in his upcoming mega release and it is learnt that his role as a monk will be the most interesting one to watch out for.
Even though we will only get to relish 20 minutes of Suriya-the monk, the role will have the star-actor play Bodhidharma. His holiness Bodhidharma was the one brought Zen Buddhism to China! (Don’t be surprised…..read on). The holy man was born on Oct 5th in Kanchi, the capital of Southern Indian kingdom of Pallava (526 A.D).He belonged to the superior Brahmin caste born as a third son to King Simhavarman. Both director A. R. Murugadoss and 7aam Arivu composer Harris Jayaraj have hinted at the movie being an entirely fresh concept with a strong element of Tamil traditions being showcased.
Now ‘Namma’ Suriya will solve the ‘Map Of Problematique’ chasing the lost roots from Kanchi to China.
(AAAhhhhh! is there any way the movie could release before the audio launch…)
