In a fresh development, actress Sneha has walked out of Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Kochadaiyaan. Sneha had earlier expressed her joy getting to play Rajini’s sister but her opting out of the flick all of a sudden, is puzzling by all means. It is reported that there were some date problems that couldn’t be resolved.
The new replacement for Sneha is actress Rukmani Vijayakumar who has given some memorable performances in movies like Ananda Thandavam and Bharathi Raja’s Bommalattam. Moreover Rukumani fits the bill just fine as she is a classically trained Bharatanatyam dancer, playing Rajini’s sister for the role. Keeping her good company will be another Bharatanatyam exponent – Shobhana, who has already shared the stage with Rajini for some of his earlier films including Siva. Actress Sneha who’s now out of the project, is making full preparations for her marriage day with actor and lover boy Prasanna .It is also reported that she has gone ahead and signed a new project for GNR Kumaravel, titled ‘Haridas’. The posters for Rajini’s Kochadaiyaan, released recently, have sent fans raving, with director Soundarya also confirming Deepika Padukone’s role for the female lead. Isai Puyal Ar Rahman will score the music for Kochadaiyaan being India’s first performance capture photorealistic 3-D film.
Rahman, should we expect another “Rukumani, Rukumani” here?
