Lovebirds Sneha and Prasanna are gearing up for their grand wedding ceremony slated to be held in Chennai on 11th May. The duo has starred opposite each other in a solitary film titled Achamundu Achamundu which was almost shot entirely in the U.S. and caught the press-persons and their relatives and friends unawares by their love affair which probably took wings during the shoot of the above-said film.
The parents got into the picture, discussed and ironed out things and arranged for the wedding to be held on 11th May which is hardly a couple of weeks or so away from now. The customary practice of purchasing jewellery, clothes, sarees and dhotis for the bride and the groom are over and the work of distributing the invitation cards to the couple’s friends within and outside the film industry and friends relatives has just begun.
Both Sneha and Prasanna have been separately visiting their friends to hand over the invitation cards. Among those invited for their marriage in recent days includes Kamal Haasan (Sneha was his heroine in Vasool Raja MBBS), Ajith (who has done Jana opposite Sneha) and Vijay (who did the forgettable Vaseegara opposite). Prasanna visited the residence of these stars personally and invited them for the wedding.
Says Prasanna: “As far as possible, we have been trying our best to visit the houses of all our friends and relatives personally. Vijay and Ajith assured me that they’d attend the marriage and even called Sneha over phone to greet her. We are now waiting for the return of superstar Rajinikanth to Chennai from Kerala where he has been shooting for his upcoming film Kochadaiyaan.
“The moment Rajini Sir arrives in Chennai, we shall meet him and invite him for the marriage,” he concludes. It may be recalled that Sneha was earlier signed up to play Rajini’s sister in Kochadaiyan but was replaced at the very last moment by Rukmani Vijayakumar.
