Siddharth-Amala’s KSY goes Bollywood

The film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi has had a grand opening at theater halls over the weekend. Starring Siddharth and actress Amala Paul in a peppy romance, this cute flick comes with a simple message to ‘come fail in love’. Released as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, the welcoming response for the film has ensured for a Bollywood remake too.

Actor Siddharth who also turned producer with this release, announced the good news saying, “The calls for Hindi rights have come alarmingly early for KSY/lovefailure… The film will be remade. I assure you! By YNot & Etaki:).” Shot in just 36 days, KSY has been directed by debutant Balaji Mohan. Balaji’s short film uploaded on popular online platform Youtube got noticed by Nirav Shah, who helped him reach out to producers and actors for the big release. With fresh content and an innovative promotion campaign, the director and his team have scripted themselves a wonderful success story. The collections for last Sunday have reportedly doubled compared to its opening day record. In the neighboring Andhra region 20 more screens have demanded for the additional prints, with theaters elsewhere packed houseful by college going youth.

That’s a win-win for KSY, now going Bollywood 🙂
