Ever since the audio of the film was launched a couple of weeks ago, expectations were on high among movie-goers as well as fans of the brothers to watch them together in action after a long time. The last time the duo worked together was for Pudupettai a few years back.
Selvaa has said that as his health was ‘not up to the mark’ at the moment and that the film Mayakkam Enna may not release on Deepavali as planned. He apologized to his fans and to others for not being able to keep his word to release the film on the said date. He expressed confidence that the fans would ‘understand’ his predicament.
Mayakkam Enna is billed as a youthful entertainer in typical Selaa style with GV Prakash Kumar scoring the music. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have penned the lyrics besides singing a couple of songs.
