Seems nothing can prevent Seeman from being active. The director-cum-politician is currently serving his jail terms after having been arrested under the National Security Act or allegedly making inflammatory speeches against neighbouring country Sri Lanka. On 10 July, police had slapped fresh sets of cases against Seeman and arrested him as he was entering the Chennai Press Club to brief media on the continued killings of Indian fishermen by Lankan forces and lodged him at Vellore prison.
And now the ‘Naam Tamilar’ movement founder is carrying out his director duties perfectly inside the prison too. Seeman had committed to direct a film ‘Pagalavan’ with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role, and the production of Kalaipuli Thanu. Now the latest update is Seeman has completed the script for ‘Pagalavan’ inside the prison..
According to close sources, producer Kalaipuli Thanu met the director Seeman in Vellore jail today and discussed about the film status. It is revealed that the script is complete and satisfactory.
