Directors Ameer, RK Selvamani, Vikraman and actor Sathyaraj were in Vellore Central Prison on Thursday to meet director Seeman who is in Vellore Prison for quite some time now.
Sathyaraj has now revealed that the meeting was just an act on the basis of expressing solidarity and goodwill. Sathyaraj said, “We had earlier met him when he was in Coimbatore and Madurai prisons as well”.
“We complimented Seeman for his excellent performance in ‘ Magizhchi ‘, directed by V. Gowthaman,” added the actor.
On further inquiry on how Seeman is finding his stay in Vellore Central prison, Sathyaraj confirmed “He is taking care of himself and is in good health condition and high spirits”
However the actor remained silent on the concern regarding rehabilitation of Sri Lankan Tamils still living in relief camps which was earlier expressed by UPA chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Seeman the head of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam movement was arrested when he passed remarks against the central government and its ties with neighboring country Srilanka. Prior to this, the Director had been arrested numerous number of times with regard to his support for the formation to Tamil eelam but he had managed to come clean, but this has been a long stay.
It could be cooking out, though the law states displaying moral support to an organization can not be categorized as crime. But this is one example of Money and power is above all.
