Director/screen writer Renjith is regarded an asset for the contemporary film industry when it comes to delivering commendable flicks in Mollywood. But the director does not hesitate in presenting his point of view keeping in mind the present scenario of the industry.
It is to be noted that there has been a keen interest shown by the Mollywood audience for Tamil movies which is reason enough for the director to draw some conclusions. In fact he is bold enough to remark that Mollywood is learning from Kollywood and the new bunch of directors have received their share of appreciation. More on what he spoke, watch out at the video.
Renjith was addressing the audience present at the audio launch of Sasikumar’s ‘Eesan’ which saw the presence of Anurag Kashyap, K Balachander, Rama Narayanan, Bala and Ameer and Kannada director Yograj Bhat.
Director Anurag Kashyap present during the function confessed that his next venture was based on Sasikumar’s critically acclaimed ‘Subramaniapuram’ and directors Sasikumar, Bala and Ameer have left an indelible impression on his mind.
It seems that it isn’t just Mollywood but Bollywood too drawing inspiration from Kollywood.
