The Red Giant banner will be taking up production charges for another interest release in the making, titled Neerparavaigal. Red Giants chief Udhayanidhi is currently busy shooting in the deserts of Jordan for his movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, which marks his debut as an actor. We are told that he will be heading back to Chennai soon to get on with the paper work for his latest sign up.
The flick Neerparavaigal narrates the love and life of a fisherman and will be something fresh in the offering, keeping in mind the overdose of commercial flicks doing the round. It will be directed by the very promising Seenu Ramasamy whose last release in Thenmerku Paruvakaatru swept the National awards in 2010 for Best Regional feature film, Saranya Ponvannan receiving the National award for Best actress and lyricist Vairamuthu taking home the National award for Best lyricist. It is learnt that the director had Vimal as his first choice for this new movie but has now placed his bets on actor Vishnu for a needed replacement. Jayamohan will be scripting the dialogues for this flick with the rest of the crew yet to be finalized.
