Apart from his debut film ‘Roja Koottam’, actor Srikanth never had a single hit throughout his entire career. In spite of straining himself with challenging scripts, the actor hasn’t got a right film to prove his adeptness. Well, it’s an acid test for Srikanth as his long-delayed ‘Rasikkum Seemane’ is all set to hit screens tomorrow.
The film is produced by Thirumalai and is directed by Vidyadharan and earlier titled as ‘Ettappan’. Since, there were some protests made by people belonging to Ettappan community, the film’s title was changed to ‘Rasikkum Seemane’. Pertaining to the film’s title that was taken from the famous song in yesteryear classic ‘Parasakthi’, music Vijay Anthony has remixed the same number.v
At present, Srikanth has completed shooting for his bilingual film ‘Police Police’ along with Prithviraj and takes on the role of a slum dweller in ‘Drohi’ directed by debutant Sudha, once of associate of director Manirathnam.
