The much-awaited day is just 72 hours away! The day superstar Rajinikanth’s millions of fans around the world had been waiting would arrive on 15th March (Thursday) when Rajini is all set to start the shooting schedule of his upcoming film Kochadaiyaan which would be directed by his younger daughter Soundarya.
K.S. Ravikumar, who has directed Rajini in mega-hit films like Muthu and Padaiyappa, would be penning the story, screenplay and dialogues of Kochadaiyaan. The film, to be made in animated 3-D version using ‘motion capture technology’, pairs Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone opposite Rajini.
The muhurat is expected to be held at the AVM Pillaiyar Koil inside the premises of AVM Studios in the city, which is Rajini’s favourite spot. Special pujas would precede the commencement of the film’s shoot. Sequences involving Rajini and Deepika would be shot on that day, it is informed. The crew would then leave for London on a 3-week long stay wherein Rajini’s stunt sequences would be shot using Hollywood technicians.
The late and evergreen comedian Nagesh would also be ‘co-starring’ Rajini in the film, thanks to the graphics technique. The film has a host of stars including Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi, Rukmani, Shobana and Nasser. A.R. Rahman would be scoring the film’s music which is expected to release as a Deepavali bonanza for Rajini’s fans.
