Well if you thought it was only Vijay’s Thuppakki that completed a century at the box office then you are slightly off target. Joining in the race, is debutante Vikram Prabhu’s adventure drama namely Kumki which was unleashed in theaters on December 14 last year. Although, it is 15 days short of the landmark , it is no where near in the collections in comparison to Illayathalapathy’s blockbuster.
Some months ago, Kumki’s audio launch introduced the grandson of late thespian Sivaji Ganesan and son of veteran actor Prabhu midst much fanfare. In a similar fashion the celebratory run fifteen days hence, will be marked by the presence of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
As part of their gratitude for the ‘First Man of Cinema’ - Sivaji Ganesan, the masters of the craft have agreed to be seated next to each other. Producers Thirrupathi Brothers ,are glad that their venture has done so well at the box office even after fierce competition by rivals.
Just like Gautham Menon, Karthi, Prabhu Solomon and Sathyaraj were present for the audio launch even more are expected to turn up mentioned the organizers.Anyhow, expectations from Vikram Prabhu are high as he is now expected to take the legacy ahead and give many such occasions for the illustrious family in the coming times.
