It’s all set for a grand muhurat of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kochadaiyaan to be held in Chennai tomorrow. After the pooja and shooting a few sequences involving Rajini and Deepika Padukone, the crew and the technicians are likely to fly to London on 21st to continue the shooting schedule further.
Rajini is said to be very excited to get back to work again, after more than a couple of years. He was ready to shoot for the now-abandoned Rana on 29th April last year when he fell ill and went to Singapore to get the requisite treatment. The star is reportedly in no mood to let any one act as his ‘duplicate’ in the film as he has clearly told his daughter that he would be performing all the sequences himself.
In case, just in case, Rajini doesn’t manage a particular sequence, it would be taken off the script, it is said. Rajini is all set to play dual roles of a father and his son in this period flick which has now acquired the buzz and popularity associated with an ‘usual’ Rajini film. In London, British stunt artistes would be working with Rajini for the stunt sequences which would be choreographed by Peter Hain.
Soundarya, who makes her debut as director with this film, had been to Hong Kong recently to finalize the many technical aspects of the film. The Rajini-starrer is planned as India’s first-ever hi-tech 3-dimensional film. As such, Soundarya and her team of technicians have planned things well in advance.
