Superstar Rajinikanth has been making rapid progress at the Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore where he was admitted on the morning of last Saturday (29th of May). The star, who has been ailing for more than a month now, had earlier been treated for his illnesses at the St. Isabella Hospital and SRMC Hospital in Chennai before being flown to Singapore.
Rajini’s close friend and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is said to have recommended to Latha Rajinikanth the Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore for treating Rajini’s renal failure which is said to be the ‘root cause’ of the kidney disorder the superstar is suffering from. The hospital is said to be the best in Asia in treating kidney-related disorders.
A team of top doctors have been attending to Rajini and have performed dialysis on him, which has seen the star making ‘good progress’, following which Rajini has reportedly been shifted from the ICU ward to his private ward. Sources say that Rajini was spotted chatting enthusiastically with the doctors and his family members. He even played with his grandsons Yathra and Linga who came along with Latha Rajinikanth, for some time, it is said.
Considering the kind of progress that Rajini has been making, the chances of him getting recommended for ‘kidney transplantation’ are remote, hospital sources say.
