The Superstar Rajinikanth‘s health has become a serious point of discussion across many forums in the State and elsewhere. The wave of anxiety that is radiating across the country over the health of him has not spared Hosur either.
Nearly 50 fans of the Superstar conducted the famous ‘Mann Soru‘ ritual at the Kalikamba temple in Chandra Chudeswara hill temple premises in Hosur, praying for the actor’s speedy recovery. The fans ate rice spread out on a bare floor in the temple premises, as part of the pooja.
“Kalikamba is the favourite God of superstar Rajnikanth and hence we organised the pooja in this temple for his speedy recovery,” fans who participated in the pooja said.
Meanwhile, members of All Actors Fans Association in Hosur also organised special prayers near the Taluk office for the speedy recovery of Rajinikanth.
Trouble started when Rajini complained of difficulty in breathing on the evening of 29th April, the day when his upcoming film ‘Rana’ was launched. The real reason behind his successive hospitalization was never made public by his family as well as by the media.
According to sources, Rajinikanth is likely to fly to London for further treatment once he gets discharged from the SRMC hospital in Chennai’s Porur locality where he has been admitted for the past two weeks now.
Earlier, it was reported that Rajini might be taken to the U.S. for treating his kidneys. Then a team of doctors flew in from America to assist the doctors attending on to Rajnikanth. In the meantime, sources close to the star’s family say that he is likely to be flown to London to continue the treatment.
It’s been almost a month now that Rajini is in hospital. It’s said that Rajini had high blood pressure and diabetes (the beginning stage) prior to the problems of breathing that he had on 29th April. As he didn’t take proper treatment to treat the twin illnesses, it eventually affected the functioning of his kidneys, it is said.
In order to streamline the functioning of the kidneys, haemodialysis has been performed as many as 5 times on Rajni, and also removed fluid surrounding his chest that was pressing against the lungs and causing difficulty in breathing. Travel arrangements are being made to take Rajini to London either by this weekend or early next week.
